Easy Goal Setting - Relax and Ask - www.jessicacrossasmr.com

Your activity for today is to write yourself a Christmas Letter.  What?!? It is the beginning of summer!  A Christmas letter is the best example of what I want you to write.  Do any of you still get Christmas Newsletters from families telling you how awesome they are?  They lay out all the amazing places they have gone and awards there children have won.  It is the amazing highlights of their year.  In the digital age we are often bombarded with these kinds of posts on Facebook year round!

Your letter to yourself is the same.  I want you to write a letter dated this time Next Year.  Detail all the awesome things that will happen over the coming year.  Set your sights high, but also keep them within the realm of possibility and things you could actually work on.  We generally over estimate what we can accomplish in a year and underestimate what we can accomplish in three years.  If you only meet half of the goals you write out, or only meet these goals half way, that is a lot farther than you are right now.

Read over this letter every month, three months, or whenever feels right to you.  Remember this is a working document, so feel free to cross things out and add new things at any time.  Some people hesitate to set yearly goals because a year is a long time, and our priorities change.  It is still good to set those goals, but don't hesitate to alter them.

Now, read through this meditation.  Then close your eyes and remember what you can.  There is no need to worry if you can't remember it all.  Your meditation will go right where you need it to.

Star Meditation

Take a deep breath and close your eyes.   You are walking outside at night; where are you?  It is dark but the stars are brilliantly bright.  It is a new moon so the light is from stars alone.
Lay down on the ground.  Feel the light from the stars bathe your body.  This protective light covers you with peace and calm.  As you look up, a few of the stars seem to burn brighter than the others.  They may omit a comforting color or your eyes may just feel drawn to these stars.  One then seems to reach out stronger than the others.
Focus on that star; soon you notice strings drifting down from each of the stars above.  Reach out to the string connected to the star you are drawn to.  This star is your current path.  Hold on to the string and you can ask the star any questions you have about the path you are on.  You can simply ask if this is the right path; if the answer is no, you may look to another star calling out to you.  You may choose a different path than the one you have been on up to this point.
Do not feel afraid to attach to the stars.  At any time you can detach from this string and attach to a different star.  If you feel ready, you can attach this string to a reel that appears right above your heart.  This reel pulls the string little by little, bringing you farther down this path to your destiny.  Sometimes it will move so slowly it will seem to barely turn; and sometimes it will be as if you are racing towards this star.  As this star is pulled closer to you, so are all of the stars in the sky; so you are moving further down all possible paths.  Some stars are farther away, and some are so far you may not be able to see them yet, but you are always moving closer, so choosing another path is easy.  There are no mistakes, just clarifications of what we want.  We are constantly reeling in our destiny and we learn on any path we choose.
Ask for any clarification from your star.  When you have asked everything you need to ask, welcome this star into your life.  Thank the star for pulling you along on your journey.
When you feel ready, start to hear the sounds around your physical body.  Wiggle your fingers and toes, and open your eyes.

Now roll your shoulders and then your neck and return to your body.  Do you have anything you need to add or remove from your letter?  Feel free to follow this meditation regularly to update your letter and make sure you are still focusing on your current priorities.

Meet Your Spa Needs for FREE - ASMR and Meditation - www.jessicacrossasmr.com

Many of us do not have the time or money for a Spa Vacation, Spa Day or sometimes even an hour for a massage or manicure.  As a Massage Therapist I try to practice what I preach, and get a massage once a month but I have have gone through phases when I did not have the finances or the time for this commitment.  As a result I learned to get my spa time virtually when the real thing is not an option.

I have found that ASMR videos (for more on ASMR check out my website: Here) often fulfill my immediate relaxation needs and I specifically seek out spa related videos.  These help me to relax and care for myself.

I also love the beautiful menus you receive at spas outlining the treatments available.  I dreamed of creating a virtual spa menu years ago and finally had enough videos to do so this year (Virtual Spa Click Here).

Meditation is another way I have met my spa needs.  I have created a spa room in meditation that I can visit anytime I need to relax.  Read through this meditation and then create your own spa room.  The healing guides who help in those rooms are always fascinating.  They are also good to ask about what you might need to care for yourself physically right now.

SPA Meditation

Take a deep breath and close your eyes.  Begin to walk down the lane toward a large house. Walk up to the door and enter this house.  As you enter take a deep breath and relax.  This is your place and you feel calm and serene.  Look around the entry way.   Near the back of the room you see a table with some items on it.  Walk towards the table and you see that there is an altar on the table.  Look at what is on the table.  Are there stones, candles, pictures, statues?  Right in the middle of your alter is a gift for you.  This gift is something you need right now.  Look closely at this item.  You can decide to take this item now or to retrieve it when you leave.  If you do not find a gift for you, pay attention throughout the week as something might appear.
Walk past the archway with your guides and you will come to shut door.  Look closely at this door, what color is it, what is it made of?  What does the handle look like?  When you are ready, open the door and walk into the room.
This is your healing room and here you will receive physical and emotional healing.  What does this room look like?  Does it look medical or more like a spa?  Are there items for relaxation like a hot tub, steam room or sauna; is there medical equipment?  What is the flooring, what color are the walls?  See the room in detail.  In the middle of the room there will be an examining or massage table.
Soon you are approached by one of your guides who was standing in the corner of this room.  This may be a guide you know or someone new.  This is your healer.   If this is a new guide to you, go ahead and ask their name.
Your guide asks you to lie down on the table.  Your guide will now give you a healing, based on what you need right now.  Do you need your chakras balanced, or your energies cleaned?  What procedure does your guide use?  It is generally something you have never seen before but it is the most effective way to heal you right now.  Does your heart need healing or your brain need awakening to new information?  Relax as your healer provides you with exactly what you need.   Thank your guide for helping you with this healing and know that you can return here at any time to rejuvenate your body and mind.
Leave this room and you can retrieve your gift from the altar, if you left it there earlier.  Look once more around the entry way and be grateful you have found this place that will always be here for you.  Open the front door and exit.  Smile, remembering the healing you have received and continue to walk down the path until you return to your physical body and open your eyes.

This is a good time to eat or drink something to return to your body.  Did your healer help you clarify what you need to do to care for yourself.  Take whatever you are given in meditation and if it is only a good feeling and/or colors, that is fine.  The visualizations will become clearer as you practice.

If you are new to spa treatments you can also check out the Virtual Spa to get an idea of some of the options you would have at a spa.  This may help you visualize spa treatments in meditation.  I hope these help you relax and sleep well.

Intuitive Guided Meditation for You - www.jessicacrossasmr.com

When I first started guiding people in meditation many years ago I would spend a lot of time writing out each meditation and then read them off to the group.  Even when I would meditate on my own I would often plan out a meditation or read a guided meditation book for guidance.  Then I realized that if I closed my eyes and did not try to control what was happening a meditation would unfurl that addressed just what I needed in that moment.

When I started doing guided meditation workshops I found that I could also speak these meditations for others without planning them ahead of time.  I also found that I could create meditations based on what other members of the group needed.  I knew that the meditations were for them because often I would feel bad because the meditation seemed so lame (to me), and then the members of the group would come and tell me how that specific meditation was so powerful for them.  The meditation seemed to be created based on their energy, not mine.  Since finding this out I have started doing more and more meditations for others.  Here is a recent video meditation that I intuitively created.

I now make these videos every month for my Patreon Members and it is so wonderful to tap into the energy of my Tribe.

Thank you so much for reading my blog.  I really appreciate it.  I would love to connect with you more on my JessicaCross ASMR Community Facebook Group.  Please reach out any time.

Use Meditation to Give Yourself Purpose - www.jessicacrossasmr.com

This is a long meditation so I will keep this introduction short.

Your activity for today is to give yourself a Title!  Not your title for work but a title for who you want to be.  My title is "Relaxation Specialist."  If you don't know what that is, neither did I, so I created it on my website (www.jessicacrossasmr.com).  I even found some business cards I made about 7 years ago calling myself a Relaxation Specialist.

Try to create your own title without feeling the need to completely define it.  Over time you will figure out what it means in detail and it should change as you grow through your life.  You may even drop a title entirely and add a new title.

This does not need to be your only title, I am also "Mom-tastic" and "Sing-erific", but just choose one for now.  Write this down and then try this meditation and see if it changes for you.  Read through the meditation below and then close your eyes and remember what you can.  Don't worry about memorizing the meditation and let the meditation unfold based on what you need.

Contentment Meditation

Take a deep breath and close your eyes.  With each deep breath you start to feel yourself rise up from your body, until you are looking down on your physical body.  See your physical body below you as you begin to float out of the room where you physical body is resting.  Travel up to a cloud.  Climb up onto this cloud and walk towards a smaller cloud.  One of your guides is waiting for you.  Thank your guide for being there and ask them if they will take you to see the possible future you need to see.

Climb onto the smaller cloud.  This small cloud, with your guide and you, begins to move towards a tunnel of white light.  As you enter the tunnel you think or say aloud your desire to travel to a possible future in your life; a time of contentment and a time of knowledge and understanding.  The cloud exits the tunnel and travels down to the earth.

You see yourself older and sitting in a chair.  You are happy to be there and you enter the body of this older version of yourself.  Your guide sits down in a chair next to you.  You can understand the thoughts of this older version of yourself.  You are happy and are reflecting on your life.  You feel you have done what you need to do in life  Think of what you are most proud.  What are the things that are most valuable to you?  What brought you to this state of contentment?  Where are you most happy you spent your time?  Who have you most enjoyed spending time with?  What feelings have you experienced that have made your life whole?  What experiences are most important to you?  Do not judge your life, just think of what is meaningful to you.

You may ask your guide any questions you need to clarify what you have experienced.  You can ask your guide the question, “What is my Soul Purpose?”  Know that you may not get a clear answer, as you may have several major goals in your life or many facets to one purpose which are hard to express.  Your guide may be able to tell you the next step to take towards this contentment.  Ask your guide if they have a gift to help you to remember this time.  Ask any questions you have about this gift.

As you feel ready, leave the body of your older self and join your guide back on the cloud that has been waiting for you.  The cloud travels back up to the tunnel of light.  In this tunnel you feel calm and peace.  You may ask the light any questions you still have.
Soon it is time to exit the tunnel and travel back to where your physical body is waiting.  Thank your guide and leave the cloud to float back down to your physical body.  Hear the sounds around you.  Wiggle your fingers and toes, and when you feel ready, open your eyes.

This is a good time to take out your journal and take notes on your meditation. I sometimes create a digital or physical collage or drawing of my meditation.  Now think about your Life Title and let yourself change it if it no longer resonates with you.

Get Happy and Win Your Game! - www.jessicacrossasmr.com

When I used to play RPG's (Role Playing Games) in my youth.  One of my favorite parts was setting up my Avatar.  I liked to choose where I would allocate all of my skill points.  I think this is a useful task for arranging our Real Life as well.

We only have a finite amount of energy on any given day or week.  It is our job when trying to maintain health and wellness to think about those energy points and how to spend them.  I want you to do an exercise with me.  If you struggle with this exercise jump to the meditation at the end and then try the exercise again.

I am going to have you assign 45 skill points to your current life.  This is based on how you currently spend your time and how happy you are with each area.  You can assign 0-5 points per area with 0 being "Not at All" and 5 being "Awesome."   You may have an area or two that you really feel are over a 5 and I will allow for that but only if you know you are at a "Bordering on Obsessive" level.  Now remember only 45 points and some of you may not even use all of those.

Physical Environment:
Relationship with a Partner:
Friends:
Personal Growth:
Spirituality:
Happiness:
Physical Health:
Family:
Fun and Leisure:
Finances:
Career:

Now I want you to read through the following meditation and then close your eyes and remember what you can.  It is fine if your meditation does not follow this exactly.  Your meditation will take you where you need to go.

Perfect Day Meditation

Take a deep breath and close your eyes.  Begin to walk through the forest again.  Hear the crunch of the leaves, smell the air. As you walk through the forest you begin to walk uphill.  It is steep but you are able to climb easily and quickly.  Soon the trees thin and you see you are on a mountain and almost to the summit.  Continue to climb until you reach that summit.

Look down on the valley and see below you are many different replicas of your home.  You are drawn to one of these versions of your home and it glows like a beacon.  Focus on this home; as you look at the building it is as if you have a telescope.  The vision becomes larger and larger until you pass right through the ceiling and can view the inside of your home.

This version of your home contains your perfect day!  It is dawn and you see yourself in bed.  How do you feel as you begin to wake up on this perfect day.  Are you excited to greet the day?  Are you well rested?  Are you calm and relaxed or energetic?  Do you jump out of bed or do you slowly stretch or read in bed?  How do you spend the first few moments of your perfect day?

How do things look around you?  Does your bedroom look as it usually does?  Is anyone in the room with you?  Do you speak to them?  How do you spend your morning?   Will you work today?  If so what does your work look like?  Who do you see and spend time with?  Would you prefer solitude?  There is not only one perfect day, this is just ONE possible perfect day.

What you would like to do.  Will you spend time with family, with friends or will you just take a relaxing day by yourself with no obligations?  If you could choose anywhere where would you be on this day?  Is it a place that you have been before or just some place that you imagine will be perfect?  What do you do for lunch? Maybe you will take a lunch for two or three hours.

How will you spend your time in the afternoon?  Where would you like to be?  What would be fun to do; or, do you just want to relax?  What nourishes you right now?

How will you spend your evening?  What will you have for dinner?  Do you eat with someone?  What does your body crave to eat?  Will you go out later in the evening, or will you go to sleep early and get your rest?  As you lay down to go to sleep and your perfect day ends, you zoom out from the home you are watching, until you are again sitting on the mountain top.

A guide joins you on the mountain.  Ask them any questions about what you just observed.  Ask them what lesson you need to learn from this experience.  Ask what change you can make right now to bring you closer to this perfect day.  Ask your guide if they have a gift for you to remind you of this experience.  Thank your guide and head back down the mountain.

Walk through the forest as you being to feel where your body is resting.  Hear the sounds around you. Wiggle your toes and your fingers and when you feel ready open your eyes.

Now, use the list above and write where you would like to be, but again only use 45 points.  Remember these points are finite so you may need to take from one area to add to another.  I don't think any of us get to have 5's in all areas at any one time in our lives.

With the help of this meditation, what is one thing you can do this week to help you move just one step (from a 1-2, or a 2-3, etc.) in one area where you want to increase your skill points.  Remember this may mean taking some time away from another area, and that is alright.  There is no right or wrong on this exercise.  This is about what you need at this one snapshot in your life and that should change as your priorities change.  Make that change now or schedule when this week you will make that change!

I hope this was helpful and I hope you make one change today.  Get more meditation like this in the Soul Path Guidebook.  https://gum.co/gcFqx
