Guided Mediation - Use this Energy
Is your intuition still strong from the solar eclipse energy? Mine sure is. Take advantage of it on this Full Moon.
Take good care of yourself over the next week as you will need some time to recuperate from all this energy swirling over the past month.
Read the following guided meditation and then close your eyes and remember what you can. Take whatever wisdom and relaxation you are given. Whatever direction your meditation takes is exactly correct for you.
Take a few deep breaths and close your eyes. Find yourself walking towards a large old mansion. The mansion has not been kept up and looks run down and weary. As you get closer you notice the front door is slightly ajar.
When you reach the front steps a gust of wind blows by and opens the door even wider. You walk through the open door and look around for any signs of life. There are no sounds and it is pretty clear that no one has been in these rooms for a long time.
You walk through the dusty rooms and see there is still some furniture under sheets and even some pictures on the walls. You walk over to one of the pictures and blow off the dust. A beautiful young woman is in the picture. She looks happy and her eyes twinkle. It reminds you that this must have once been a place of joy although those days are in the past.
As you come to the end of a row of rooms you see a staircase that leads up into a turret room. The stairs look sturdy and you are curious to see the view from the top of the turret. You walk up the stairs and notice that there are a few rooms near the top. The doors to these rooms are shut but they do not seem as dusty. The stairs at this part of the turret are clean as if they are being used.
Therefore you decide to know before entering these rooms. You knock on one of the doors and hear a faint sound from inside. You open the door slowly and see and old woman sitting in a straight back chair near one of the turret room windows. The room is clean and seems comfortable although it is small and does not have must furniture. There is a small but ornately carved bed, a dresser, a few trunks and chairs and table in front of which the old woman sits.
She looks at you and smiles and you see the twinkle in her eye and recognize her from the picture. She waves for you to join her in the chair across from her at the table. You sit and look out the window and the view is beautiful. You can understand why the woman has chosen this part of the house to occupy.
The woman asks you to tell her about yourself and you give her a brief overview of your current life. She asks how she can help you. Ask her for some guidance. She says that she can give you the wisdom of the very old who are less connected to this world and closer to the next. Listen closely to what she tells you. It may not be received in world but in pictures, ideas or even just feelings. Take what is given and there will be time later to consider what it means. You may ask a more specific question if you have one.
Thank the woman and ask if you can do anything for her. She asks you to pour her a glass of water from the pitcher on the dresser where there is also an empty glass. You hand her the water and she takes a long drink. She tells you it is the simple pleasures like quenching thirst that sustain her now. She asks if you can also get her the book from the top of a pile of books on the floor. Retrieve the book and you can look at the title before you hand it to her. She takes it an places it on a stack of books next to her on the table.
She thanks you and you thank her again and say goodbye. You head out the door and back through the steps. You walk through the mansion to the front door and back outside. Walk down the front steps and away from the mansion. As you walk down the drive you look back at the mansion. You see a small hand wave to you although you can't see her face. You smile as you wave back and then continue to walk down the drive.
Begin to hear the sounds around your physical body. Wiggle your fingers and toes, and when you feel ready open your eyes.
As soon as you can write down some notes about the meditation.
What did the woman tell you?
Could you tell what book she was requesting?
Does that book have any meaning for you?
How can you commit more to yourself?
What wisdom is your own intuition giving you?
How can you support yourself in moving forward?
I really hope you enjoyed this meditation. I enjoyed writing it so much. I write these with my eyes closed while going through the meditation and I found this one very powerful. I hope you do two!
Please let me know your experience in the comments. If you have any questions or issues that you would like me to make a meditation for please let me know.

Seasonal Shift
The energy is changing. Can you feel it? I don't know if it is just the time of the year but when the sun begins to wake me up at a reasonable time in the morning (for me it is 7:00 AM) then everything shifts. My energy renews and I see the light at the end of winter's tunnel.
This is when my ideas start percolating. I am actually trying to force myself not to start anything major yet. This is partially due to getting over an illness (I think my body was telling me I was doing too much for this quiet time of the year and forced me to STOP) but also because it just isn't time yet. I need to let these ideas marinate for a while so what finally comes forth will be READY.
Let me know if you are feeling any of the same energies. Here are some questions to ponder at this time. If you struggle with the answers, relax, close your eyes and sit with one of your guides in meditation. You can ask them these questions or just talk them out.
What change do you feel ready to make?
What new feeling is growing in you?
How can you refuel before these changes occur?
What lesson are you revisiting?
Congratulations on taking this time to plan your path instead of just letting life happen to you! If you would like more guidance check out my journals and relaxation recordings on Amazon: Click Here
Enjoy these moments of transition!

Choose Your Path
We are now more than one month into the new year. That may not seem like much but I find it is
vitally important to recalibrate your direction on a regular basis. If not, you find that you have been miserable
for a long time and never even noticed, or that everything is wonderful and
that you haven’t really been appreciating it.
I have been at both places.
If you find you aren’t happy or heading in the direction you
want to go, this is the time to start changing gears. Start spending more time and focus on what
you really want instead of what you think you should be doing. Life passes quickly and while we don’t all
have to make radical changes all the time, we do need to make sure we move
incrementally closer to where we want to be every day.
Sometimes major changes need to be made, at least in the way
we are looking at a situation and this may be the time for one of those
shifts. Try this guided meditation to
help gauge if a change needs to made, and where to go.
Read through the meditation and then close your eyes and
remember what you can. Let your
meditation head in whatever direction feels right to you.
Take a deep breath and close your eyes. Find yourself in a valley with lush green
hills on either side of you. There is a
clear straight path that lies ahead of you and leads through the flat terrain
of the valley.
To your left is a winding trail that gradually leads up to
the top of the hill on your left. To your
right leads a steep trail up the right hand hill. It looks tough but fast and would entail some
climbing over rocks.
Try not to make a conscious decision about which path to
take. Does one path seem brighter or
more enticing? If you just start walking
do your feet head for a certain path? If
you spin around with your eyes closed what path do you face?
Begin to walk down your chosen path for a few steps. Then stop and look around. Does your path still feel right? What do you expect to find on this path? What do you hope to gain from this path? If you feel the need to return and try
another path, go ahead and then ask the same questions.
Continue to walk down your path a bit further and fully
commit yourself to this road. There will
be other paths to choose farther along but for now be confident in the path you
are currently taking.
When you feel ready, start to hear the sounds around your
physical body, wiggle your fingers and toes and open your eyes.
Before you have a chance to leave the feeling of this
meditation, write down at least some brief notes about the following.
What do these paths make you think of in your current life?
(The path may only apply to one area, romance, career, spirituality, etc.)
Why do you think you ended up on the path you did?
Does the type of path chosen equate with a certain action or
thought for you?
Be very proud of yourself for taking this time. It is easy to get focused on dealing with emergencies
and never take the time to make sure you are headed in the right
direction. If you would like more
direction check out my Journals on Amazon: Click Here.

Time of Growth
We are now entering the time of the year when we begin to
focus on how we would like our life to change this year. With Imbolc on the 1st of February
we leave the time of shadow in the Northern Hemisphere.
What ideas and dreams have been stirring in your mind over
the long winter days? It is now time to
sort through them.
What dreams is merely a fantasy?
What dream is it finally time to move forward with?
What dream are you ready to let go of?
What dream do you want to nourish?
What would help support this dream?
If you would like to work together to sort through these
Imbolc questions for the next year check out my Esty page or contact me to
schedule a Skype Counseling session.
